Dear Students, Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

Welcome back everyone. These past 3 weeks were full of mixed emotions, uncertainty, sacrifice, and challenges. Even though the result was far from what we hoped, it in no way diminishes the outstanding effort and energy that went into fighting for public education. I can say without a doubt the commitment, care and community that I witnessed with teachers, students, parents and the community was the most I have seen, felt and heard in my entire career.

Thank you to all the support staff and caretakers for minding the school in our absence. Much was accomplished, and we could feel all the positive energy they were sending our way.

Here are snippets of the many moments I experienced in rallying for public education:

It was great to see all the Halloween Costumes on Friday. A reminder that joy is an essential element of school spirit and community. Thanks to Leadership Classes for hosting this event with such short notice.
