Special Notice – Students on Spares
As we enter into the last term of the year, the need for a quiet, safe and productive learning environment is crucial for student success. Students are not allowed to wander or loiter in the halls, stairwells or washrooms. The cafeteria, student lounges and the Learning Commons will ALL be quiet work areas until the end of the year. Students will only be allowed in these areas if they are doing homework or schoolwork. Students who wish to socialize, play cards or talk must go outside to the dry pond. The student parking lot will remain off limits for students during class time. No loitering in the student parking lot while classes are in session. Students who wish to be in their vehicles must leave the campus.

Grad List
Student Services has completed a review of your child’s Detailed Academic Report (transcript) for grades 10, 11, and 12. Based on the available data, your child is currently not meeting the requirements for an Alberta Education high school diploma. This means they may be missing two or more of the ten required graduation criteria.
To participate in the LBPHS graduation ceremonies on May 30, students must:
- Have completed or be in the process of completing at least 9 out of 10 graduation requirements.
- Be passing all required courses for graduation.
- Be a student in good standing.
On April 11, Student Services published the Preliminary Graduation List. Students whose names do not appear on this list have approximately two weeks to demonstrate that they are meeting graduation requirements.
Your child must make an appointment with their Student Advisor and show evidence of meeting graduation requirements. Students who are enrolled in online courses will have to demonstrate that they are approximately half way finished and passing these courses by meeting with their Student Advisor.
The Final Graduation List will be published on April 25. No changes will be made after this date.
If you have any questions, please contact Student Services.
