Dear Students, Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
Unfortunately, I have to share with you that our caretakers will be on job action starting on Monday. School is still open and teaching and learning will continue however, there will be accommodations we have to make in order for our students to be safe. The biggest one is that there will be no afterschool activities. Students are to go home immediately after the bell. J block classes will continue. Athletic practices will also continue but will end at 6 PM. Any scheduled league games will continue but there will be no spectators allowed except for parents and siblings who must attend together. Our Drama Productions next week will take place but the CBE will inform us the time we can start on Monday. There may also be picket lines in front of the school. Once more student and staff safety is of primary importance and the picket lines will be monitored. There will be contract cleaners to support the school and they will do their work in the evenings. More information and labour relations updates can be found on the CBE website.
